Cultus Bay Gardens is dedicated to hosting inspiring classes and events that bring people together over a variety of crafts, floral arranging, garden design, wild plant gathering, ornithology, basketry, cooking, drawing, natural dying, painting and more.
In our increasingly busy and tech-focused world, I find people yearning for creative and personal connections. Having always been a maker of handwork I find a deep sense of the satisfaction in creating, as well as a way to center and ground.
Classes generally include home made pie. We draw primarily on local teachers, but are excited to host people from further afield.
In addition to year-round classes, we host a summer and a winter market, bringing together artisans, bakers, and crafters to showcase and share their wares. The summer market highlights crafts such as textiles, pottery, and jewelry, as well as items geared toward the garden and plant enthusiast. The winter market offers a wide selection of locally made handcrafts and island made delicacies, as well as holiday décor for your home.
There is a magic to the history of the Cultus Bay Gardens, where years of learning, growing, and community gathering have taken place. We hope you can join us as we find new ways of connecting to the place and the people around us!
