Mary Fisher

For over 30 years I had a retail nursery with display gardens around the property at our home on Whidbey. With a deep passion for plants I also design gardens, and continue to do so. My early years were spent at California College of Arts & Crafts where I was a textile major. After closing the nursery and opening up the gardens for classes and workshops I also got back into textiles.

I make one-of-a-kind clothing which brings me much joy. I also have a passion for paper and have crafted hispanic inspired ramillettes for over 15 years. Some of the ramillette ornaments are offered in this Winter Collection. I also make amazing low sugar jams from the unusual fruits we grow. And then there is the famous fruitcake. Yes I’m spread around in my interests but it keeps things fresh!
