The market is fast approaching and I admit to spending more time getting the gardens looking good than sewing! but feel it’s important for the garden to look delightful for all those selling and the visitors who support the artists. Makes for a more pleasurable experience.
We have many new vendors , including Kortney with her macrame and with his blacksmith work.
I’m very excited for how diverse this market is – a total of 27 artists with a couple sharing tables.
Yummy salads and beverages will be for sale with perhaps some other surprises.
From incredible body products, soaps & salves there will be woodwork, blacksmithing, plants, flower bouquets, clothing, embroidery, ceramics, Jewelry, handblown glass, hand-spun yarn, and specialty peppers….
Yummy salads and beverages available to sustain you while you enjoy your Experience!
Hope to see you there. It feels good to support local small makers and artists.
For a more photos of artists and products visit the market page link above. Still not all have sent me photos but they will be there!
Britta Culbertson – Mud Lotus Handmade @mudlotus.handmade
Britta will be with us for the first time with her silver and stone jewelry. Her words best describe her motivation for what she creates.
“I specialize in combining ethically sourced stones from the Pacific Northwest with pressings of local flora, topographical maps, and nautical charts in handmade sterling silver jewelry. I strive to articulate the connection between geology and geography in the pieces I create. The stones we admire tell a story ages in the making and my goal is to forge a connection between people and the landscape with wearable works of Earth.”
Owyhee Jasper from eastern Oregon.

Kortney Schmit @knottykort, also a first at the market, brings her macrame creations. Hat holders, clay pot holders, lamp shades and more. She also loves to collaborate on special orders.
Mikal Robinson @feralrefined returns to our market from the peninsula with their felt creations and jewelry. Mikal also teaches Wild Child summer camps at various locations – a creative soul who loves to work with kids and inspire them with possiblities.
Leah Nguyễn @planetpaintpeople
Leah is returning with her ever popular block printed tee shirts, towels, napkins and alter / table cloth / hangings, printed with the Kitchen Blessing pattern, Community Vision and other spirit guided images. She’ll also have flower essences, prints and cards.
Don Wodjenski @wodjenskicreative
I’m so thrilled Brita’s incredible High School photography teacher ( retired to other art work ) is joining, Saturday only, with his gorgeous wood bowls. He has a music gig on Sunday, so come Saturday if you want to see his lovely work.
Jumangi Moriz owner of Rainy Day Flora @rainydayflora will be offering her plant starts, with a focus on native plants. With lots of growing and design knowledge, you’ll enjoy meeting her and her mom Gwen who’ll be lending a hand.
Hoping to see some of you at the music events as well as the classes and market.
The last three classes, Pine Needle Basketry, Earthen Plasters, Paints & Pigments, and Nettle Cordage will be taught by the very talented and organized Kaili Plummer-Slate.
I don’t have them listed yet on the web site but will when I have all the details from Kaili. Wanted you to have the dates in case you want to hold them on your calendar.
Enjoy the sun we are now having!
