Erin Vanhee – Herbalist and teacher at last years class
This eye opening class will guide us through my garden with surprising information about many of the plants I grow for their beauty alone.
Erin will show us which ones have other properties long used by either eastern or western healers and herbalists, with information on various ways of preparing either leaves, bark, flowers or roots.
We will be harvesting leaves and flowers, crafting some into tea, as well as preparing tinctures and vinegars or elixirs with others.
You will leave with a bottle of vinegar and tincture.
Bring your lunch to enjoy in the gardens or lathe house. Homemade pie and beverages provided for an afternoon break.
Inula – Elecampagne
Peony
Verbascum olympicum – Mullien
Polygonum – Solomon’s Seal
