Allie Stock | HandMadeish

Allie Stock is a newly transplanted artist to Whidbey island, Washington.
She is a creative maker that loves to use both her digital art and tactile nature to create handmade goods. After attending the University of Oregon and obtaining her BFA in Art and Technology she started a small business called Handmadeish. Hand made with the help of a laser blends the creativity of taking a hand drawing to the digital world and with the precision of the laser to a tangible good.

Stock’s inspiration stems from a love for nature. She has spent countless days adventuring through forests and parks cataloging lichen, plants, fungi, and microorganisms that influence her work. The bountiful flora found in the PNW show up in much of her creations. She used their influence to pull patterns, colors, and textures into the designs. These drawings were made from snowflakes viewed under a microscope. The pattern of a snowflake is intricate and has beautiful radial symmetry.

Bringing that inspiration from the maker space to your space.
