A recent visit to the Columbia River gorge was a delight for the fall colors, sun and fantastic basalt formations on each side of the river.

Tom and I also visited a fish hatchery at the Bonneville Dam which had gorgeous viewing ponds for both sturgeon and trout. The yellow maple  leaves suspended in the water which gradually sunk were mesmerizing.
